One of the fundamental things you can do to deal with the fear of solo travel is to focus on what the purpose of your trip is.
Maybe you are traveling for personal reasons, maybe you are doing it for work or business. Perhaps you are doing a combination of both. Whatever it is, try to connect with that purpose before and during your trip.
And in terms of purpose, I think it’s good to have a mission in life.
That’s quite a subject to perhaps examine at another time.
Although, I can briefly tell you that a mission is based on love, and I am not referring to love in the romantic sense, I am referring to love for what you do and love for the people who benefit from your work.
The more clarity you have about your mission, your purpose in life, the better you can deal with the fear of doing something challenging, such as taking a solo trip.
Why?
Because if you have a strong purpose behind you, this purpose will help you overcome any fear of doing things that are difficult or that you have never done before, as you will be willing to go beyond your limits to fulfill that purpose.
So that would be your first step.
With this fundamental idea in mind, in my next emails I will give you some specific recommendations on how to beat the fear of traveling solo.
All the best,
